First introduced in 1985, the Forte quickly established itself as Klipsch 's most popular model. Elegant design and incredible performance set Forte apart from its competitors. In 2017 Klipsch re-introduced the Forte speaker as part of its Heritage line. In the new Forte III, refreshed cosmetics meet the latest engineering developments, while retaining the original charisma that made the Forte popular.

HIGH EFFICIENCY, HIGH PERFORMANCE
The Forte IV houses a three-way design that uses a 12” woofer and a mid-range and tweeter with Horn technology. The Forte IV features an all-new K-702 mid-range compressor driver with a polyimide diaphragm for exceptional detail and dynamics. The Forte IV comes with a new Tractrix® horn featuring our K-702 driver and our patented Mumps technology, designed for smooth midrange reproduction, giving you more consistent sound in the listening area. The titanium diaphragm high-frequency driver features an all-new wide-dispersion phase plug to deliver extremely loud and even frequency distribution for a wider, more accurate sound .
FULL PERFORMANCE WITH PASSIVE RADIATOR
The Forte IV 's enhanced bass is provided by a rear-mounted passive radiator. A massive 15” (38 cm) sub-bass radiator works with acoustic pressure generated by the woofer for increased bass output.

WOOD COVERING WITH UNIQUE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Klipsch uses carefully produced wood veneers for its Heritage series . The veneer material is precisely sliced from wood, precision manufactured to provide a mirror image. This gives each Forte speaker a more aesthetic , more attractive and more consistent appearance than other wood veneer speakers.
Each pair of Heritage series speakers is grain-matched using wood veneer panels from the same wood. Each cabinet is carefully matched so that each speaker in the pair is practically indistinguishable from the other. At the factory, every finished product is inspected and labeled with sequential serial numbers, ensuring your Heritage series speaker leaves the factory as a meticulously crafted set.
PERFECTION AT EACH STAGE
Each component of Forte is produced to last. Focusing solely on the Heritage line, from Klipsch 's home factory in Arkansas to engineers in Indianapolis, Klipsch has always placed an extraordinary emphasis on cabin design. The Forte housing is assembled using the highest grade adhesives and fasteners. Klipsch quality is thus passed on from generation to generation.
